Who we are
Midsteel Flanges and Fittings Ltd is a major stockholder of carbon and stainless steel pipe, flanges, butt weld and forged fittings, primarily serving the oil, gas, petrochemical, power generation and fire protection industries. Our 36,000 sq ft base in the West Midlands sits at the heart of the UK's transport network, so we can offer rapid supply solutions.
We source our stock from the most competitive ISO 9001 and PED accredited sources. With experience dating back to the earliest North Sea oil discoveries, we offer considerable expertise and product knowledge, which lets us meet the tightest deadlines. Our in-house machining facility manufactures special or hard-to-find items on an urgent basis, and regularly despatches them on a same-day service.
Our ISO 9001:2015 status as a Lloyd's accredited company is your reassurance that every order will meet the quality our market demands, and that every item arrives with the relevant certification and documentation.

Investing in capacity
In recent years we have expanded our storage and our machining facility. The larger machine shop means we can now manufacture spectacle blinds, spades and spacers, and special flanges from our own stock of forgings, bar and plate, on fast lead times.
In 2025 we launched the Midsteel webstore, so customers can check and order standard stock online at any time.
Petrochem Group
Part of the Petrochem Group
On 1 June 2021 Midsteel Flanges and Fittings Ltd and its sister company Park Lane Flanges and Fittings Ltd were acquired by the Petrochem Group. Midsteel continues to trade as normal, with its management structure intact, and the group's backing has supported a period of significant investment in the business.
